Photo's of the kids for the Nanna's

Lou's Mum had asked for a photo of the kids together which I thought was a good ideas as I would love a nice photo of them together. After about 10 photos I realised how difficult this task actually was and I only have 2 children. These days it's difficult getting one child to smile by themselves let alone two of them together, but I battled on and got some fun shots. I'm supposed to be designing up this years trashy family Christmas card but I've been putting it off for ages, I don't think any will get a card from us until Easter! .Lucas looks annoyed and Remy looks as though she's about to go to sleep!

Yes I know Lucas needs a hair cut big time but it's too cold at the moment for a short hair cut over here. He needs his big mop to keep his head warm

Lucas' Nursery Christmas play

Lucas was in his first production starting as the Inn keeper in his Nurseries Christmas play.
He had one line, which he said proudly. He was a little chilly in this photo as he wouldn't put his jacket on and they performed the play out side in the yard. Which would have normally been ok but it was so cold as it had snowed the day before and was due to snow again. That's Lucas' teacher Miss Louise with the blonde hair she's fantastic a breath of fresh air. To the right of her you can see cheeky Lucas with his tongue sticking out.

Piggy has been replaced

Piggy (who is a soft toy) has been Remy's best friend since she was a baby, disappeared 2 weeks ago. We have had a couple of weeks of sleepless nights, as Remy would wake up looking for Piggy and had trouble going to sleep. Remy took to bed every soft toy in the house trying to replace her sole mate but it didn't work and the bed ended up rather full. The only toy that provided a little comfort was Auntie Jan's knitted flat rabbit, he was sent over last time Piggy did a runner.

2 weeks after piggy disappeared Remy still spoke fondly of him which would tug on your hear strings. I couldn't take it any longer so I decided to make Remy an incentive star chart, every time she did a wee or poo in the toilet she would get a star and when she had 20 stars she would get a new soft toy.

Remy and had a look on the web site for potentle piggy replacements, Remy asked for the cat when she saw him. Today the cat finally arrived and they became instant friends. The jury is still out to whether "Kitty Kat" will get the honor of becoming Remy's best friend.

Christmas on the Green

We all went to "Christmas on the green" today which was organised by Lucas' nursery teacher.

We got a photo taken with Santa. I thought it was supposed to be a photo of the kids with Santa and not me, ugh horrid photo of me! At least the kids are looking in the right direction this year and Lucas is kind of smiling.

They had a Punch and Judy puppet show which Lucas absolutely loved.

Then it poured down rain on the way home, it was nice to get home and inside out of the cold.

Mark and Rachel come to visit

On the weekend my cousin Mark and his new wife Rachel came to visit. We were most impressed as it was pouring down rain. Remy of course made the most of having visitors.

Captain underpants!

Lucas is obsessed with Super hero's. His latest thing has to put his underpants on his head. I think it's his super hero's costume!

Twins

Remy is a funny little Muppet. She saw advertised on the T.V. a twin stroller, later she went and got her 2 strollers and pushed them together. So cute! Remy is also into dressing up, please note that Remy was dressed by "Remy".
