Painting time

I used to always paint with Lucas, so I was feeling really guilty that I hadn't done any painting with Remy so I decided to have ago at painting with the 2 of them. I knew it would be difficult but I could do it. I started off painting with Remy by herself first. I encouraged her to finger paint and use the brush. Things didn't go so well as Remy first put the paint brush in her mouth and then decided that she'd like to paint with her feet with her socks on too mind you arghhhhh! Then Lucas turned up and he took his socks off straight away when he saw that Remy had paint all over her feet and started to paint his feet. Ok things were now getting messy Arrghh! (I had to keep telling myself we are all having fun, I'll clean up later it's ok, don't panic! )

The whole painting session ended badly as Remy and Lucas didn't want their feet and hands washed so I had to lock them in the bathroom with me so I could clean one and keep the other one in one area to avoid them running all over the apartment with painted feet. By the time I had finished cleaning them both up they were as grumpy as hell with me so I put them in front of the T.V. to keep them in one spot while I cleaned the bathroom and kitchen up. So much for doing a stimulating activity with them and putting them in front of the T.V in the end again anyway
